Since McLachlans first started looking at the issue of Anthropogenic climate change we have released five documents on issues associated with the subject.
These 5 documents are available for purchase here to cover the costs of production. They are available individually or together as a group of five.
McLachlan Software's "Bulletins" document the method and findings of our Climate Change research survey. We believe that they are a strategic management tool to assist anyone to reach and progress an informed understanding of Climate Change / Global Warming as desired.
These Bulletins follow research on Climate Change and Global Warming by us since May 2008. This has included collecting, reading, sorting and filing books, articles, papers, videos, lectures and so on by specialist scientists, authors and commentators.
This is an accessible briefing document of more than 100 pages complete with findings, background discussion, explanatory graphs and detailed references.
Governments around the world are moving to spend vast sums of money in attempting to reduce the amount of anthropogenic (caused by humans) carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere each year. The assumption is that an increase in the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere causes a dangerous increase in global temperature.
When people ask for the evidence used to justify this course of
action, they are referred to a United Nations IPCC report and told
that the science is settled
. As management consultants,
engineers and scientists trained in the scientific method we were
taught that the science is never settled.
This seemed strange to us.
We decided to try to understand the evidence for ourselves.
The global temperature has not risen in the last thirty years and has only risen 0.6°C (1.8°F) since the beginning of the industrial revolution in 1850.
Increasing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere will not cause a further rise in atmospheric temperature.
We are an Australian management consulting firm with a forty year history of consulting to government and the private sector around the world.
Some of the skills we have brought to this issue include:
